First, let's add some warm water into the bowl of your stand mixer
and be sure to exchange the whisk add-on for the dough hook add-on.
You'll then want to sprinkle the water with your sugar and yeast.
Stir the mixture up and then let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, just
until it becomes foamy.
-
Now, mix in your butter, salt, milk and 3 cups of flour. Make sure
to stir in the leftover flour at a gradual pace. You'll know you've
added enough flour when your dough begins to look and feel smooth.
Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes (You can also knead the bread by
hand, but it will take longer to achieve the nice smooth look). The
dough will stick to the bottom of the bowl, but most importantly it
shouldn't stick to the sides and the the sides of the bowl should
look clean. Now, divide the bread dough into 2 portions of equal
size.
-
In a side dish, mix up the parlsey, oregano, minced garlic and
butter. Then set it aside for later use.
-
Cut your bread dough in 1 inch pieces then dip them into the butter
mix then layer the buttered pieces of dough into 2 oiled up 9 inch
by 5 inch bread pans. place
clear wrap over the pans and wait
(almost an hour) till the bread rises to twice its size. Then,
preheat your oven to 360 degrees.
-
Bake the bread at 350° for about 25 minutes or until it looks golden
brown. The temperature of the baked loaves should be just about 200
degrees. Lastly, Sprinkle
with salt.
